What is One Foot Forward?

One Foot Forward is a specialist walking holiday company based on Andros in the Cyclades, Greece. We have been guiding walkers across the Greek islands since 2011, offering guided and self-guided inn-to-inn hiking programmes on Andros, Tinos, Naxos, Kythnos, Amorgos, Sifnos, and other Cycladic islands.

What languages do you operate in?

We operate in English, Italian, French and Greek.

Who are your guides?

Our guides are licensed, locally based professionals with in-depth knowledge of the Cycladic landscape, history, flora, and fauna. They live on the islands year-round and lead small groups with a maximum of around 10 people.

Do you offer private or tailor-made programmes?

Yes. We design bespoke itineraries for couples, families and small groups across the Cyclades, based on your dates, pace and interests.

How do I book?

We offer both guided and self-guided inn-to-inn programmes, typically 4 to 9 days, connecting villages such as Batsi, Menites, Korthi and Andros Town. All programmes include accommodation in small locally-owned hotels, luggage transfers, and full navigation support.

Tinos is one of the most rewarding and least-walked islands in the Cyclades. Its trails pass through traditional villages such as Pyrgos, Volax and Panormos, alongside centuries-old dovecotes, marble fountains and terraced hillsides. It is quieter and more authentic than many other Greek islands.
