Follow the 10km trail of the former Andros Trail Race, now transformed into a peaceful circular walking tour that unveils the authentic soul of southern Andros. Beginning and ending at Korthi Bay, this scenic hike takes you through traditional settlements, unique architectural monuments, and a landscape shaped by water, wind, and time.

Starting from Korthi Bay, we begin a loop that climbs gently into the hinterland of southern Andros, where terraced hills, small chapels, and dry-stone walls define the scenery.

Our first stop is the village of Episkopio, famous for several rare landmarks:

• The charming “Love Bridge”, featured in the film Little England
  
  
• A preserved stone watermill, once used to grind grain
  
  
• A picturesque windmill, still standing proudly on the hillside
  
  
• Impressive dovecotes, symbols of Venetian influence
  
  
• Cool stone springs tucked into quiet corners of the village
  
  

From here, the trail continues through Alamania, a small rural cluster surrounded by fields and orchards, and then onward to Lardia, another traditional village with simple whitewashed homes and views back toward the sea.

Throughout the walk, you’ll experience a mix of well-maintained cobbled paths, dirt trails, and stone-paved village lanes—a rich variety that reflects the layered history and natural beauty of the region.

We complete our loop back at Ormos Korthi, where you can enjoy a rest by the beach or a well-earned local refreshment.

• The hikes offer a moderate hike with a maximum of 3-4 hours walk. This tour requires reasonable physical and mental health on behalf of all participants!
• This tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
