Join this Yoga Retreat to relax and reconnect with nature, rejuvenate your body and mind and leave you feeling inspired, refreshed, centered, and peaceful.
Discover daily Yoga and Mindfulness courses while you will have the opportunity to explore the unique nature of Andros with short walking tours and outdoor activities.
In Yoga practices, we use the unification of breath, movement, and intent to connect with the universal energy inside and around us and use it to restructure our whole energy system in a more aligned and coherent way.
Practice will take place by the sound of the running water, in an area of outstanding beauty, we’ve created a space split into two levels for exceptional Yoga, and meditation classes in the most peaceful and beautiful natural surroundings.
Andros, unlike the other islands of the Cyclades, is ideal for hiking due to its mountainous nature and the variety of springs that offer a unique experience. You will explore some of the island’s trails, get closer to nature and learn about herbs and flowers while getting to know the history and tradition of the island with professional hiking guides.


We have so much more than an inspirational retreat in the Cyclades and the unique Votsalo Estate but also vibrant vegetarian meals from the organic garden and holistic massage and therapies. A unique Retreat experience in Andros in the Cyclades.

Day by Day

Day 1 : Arrival Day

Whether you arrive in the morning or in the evening, we will come and pick you up from the port. As this is the day you arrive we will only plan a dinner and get to know each other in the evening. You will meet with the teacher too with a little talk about the program and your special needs

Day 2 : Yoga Class & Hiking Tour

On the first day, we will focus on Yoga and Meditation to relax our body and mind in the morning. In the afternoon we will hike a shady trail to Pythara Small Waterfalls and practice some Qigong in a natural place.
08:30 – Breakfast at the hotel
09:30 -11.30 Yoga Class
11:30 – 16.00 Rest – Free time- Appetizers meal
16:00 -18.30 Hiking to Pythara waterfalls – Practice Mindfulness
19:30 – Appetizers meal

Day 3 : Yoga Class & Leisure

In the morning practice, Yoga and then enjoy the beach and the town. In the afternoon practice again and rest after dinner.

Day 4: Yoga Class and Sightseeing Tour

Daily Yoga and Stretching Techniques class. Late in the afternoon, we will explore the South of Andros. A short hiking tour with practice in nature and then visit Korthi Bay for dinner

09:30 – 11:30 Yoga Training
11:30 – 14:00 – Rest – Free Time
14:00 – Sightseeing Tour with a minivan to the South. Short hike to explore Epikopeio Village. Practice Mindfulness and Stretching Technics in nature.
18:00 – Visit Korthi Village with dinner (optional) or Back to the hotel *
19:30 – Appetizers Meal

Day 5 : Yoga Class & Town Visit

On this day, we will focus on our Yoga Class and revise the courses we have been learning. In the afternoon we will explore the Capital town and we will have our farewell dinner in the town.

09:30 – 11.30 Yoga Class
11:30 -16.30 Rest – Free time
16:30 – 18.30 Yoga Class
19:00 We go to town to visit the historical center and then dinner
20.00 Back to the hotel

Day 6 : Departure Day

Your retreat is at the end. After breakfast, you are ready to pack up your luggage. Transfer to the port depending on your departure time.

You are free to visit the neighboring tavernas and seafood restaurants on the remaining evenings — retreat participants usually go out as a group to have supper together. If you prefer to stay in and cook for yourself, there are self-catering facilities available at Votsalo.

The Teacher

Caroline Cunliffe is a dedicated mum and a yoga student and a teacher and has been living on Andros with her partner and two children since 2016. Her yoga asana practice has been most influenced by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli,  taught by Diane Long, while her meditation practice has mostly revolved around the Theravada Buddhist teachings (insight meditation and mindfulness).
