Welcome to Milos! Upon arrival at Adamas port, transfer to a family-run guesthouse, where you will be introduced to the island’s rich history, volcanic origins, and unique culture. Today, begin your journey with a hike from the port of Adamas, passing through olive groves and fields dotted with typical Cycladic flora like mastic and sage. Explore the village of Trypiti, built over ancient catacombs carved into volcanic rock. Visit the catacombs, the archaeological site of ancient Milos, and the Roman theater, all steeped in history. Follow the trails through the ruins of the ancient city to the coast before enjoying a hearty dinner in a charming village.

Overnight: Milos
Discover Milos’ incredible coastal landscapes on this scenic hike. Begin at the ruins of Fylakopi, an important Minoan settlement, and follow trails leading to dramatic volcanic formations and secluded beaches. Swim in the turquoise waters of Papafranga, admire the sea caves of Agios Konstantinos, and explore the boat garages of Mytakas. Continue to Sarakiniko, where stark white volcanic rocks meet the vivid blue sea, creating a surreal “lunar” landscape. The day ends at the picturesque Mandrakia harbor, with a drink and a meze, followed by dinner in Plaka after a sunset visit to the castle.
