Operations & Activities Coordinator – One Foot Forward (Andros)

About us

One Foot Forward is a small agency specializing in outdoor activities and alternative tourism, based on the island of Andros.
Since 2011, we’ve been designing and leading authentic experiences in nature, culture, and local gastronomy — connecting travelers with the island’s landscapes, people, and spirit.

About the Role

The Operations & Activities Coordinator is a key position within One Foot Forward — a small agency specialising in outdoor activities and alternative tourism on Andros Island.

This is one single position for one person, not two separate roles.
The work follows the rhythm of the year: part-time and remote during the quieter months (November–March), and full-time on Andros during the active season (April–October).

The person in this position will oversee the organisation, communication, and coordination of our travel programs — both guided and self-guided, covering multi-day itineraries as well as one-day experiences and activities — ensuring smooth operations and high-quality experiences for our guests.
Beyond the office work, the role also includes occasional participation in cultural, culinary, or light hiking activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of One Foot Forward programs (guided & self-guided)

• Communicate with clients, hotels, guides, and local suppliers

• Manage bookings, payments, and reports

• Support the preparation of itineraries, offers, and partner agreements

• Contribute to the design and improvement of programs and travel experiences

• Assist in guest relations and on-site logistics during the active season

• Help with content creation and updates for social media and newsletters

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Fluency in Greek and English (additional languages are an asset)

• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel coordination

• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Canva & social media

• Interest in nature, culture, and sustainable tourism

• Driving licence

• Based in, or very familiar with, Andros Island

Η θέση

Η θέση του Operations & Activities Coordinator είναι κεντρικής σημασίας για τη One Foot Forward — ένα μικρό γραφείο που εξειδικεύεται σε υπαίθριες δραστηριότητες και εναλλακτικό τουρισμό στην Άνδρο.

Πρόκειται για μία ενιαία θέση για ένα άτομο και όχι δύο διαφορετικούς ρόλους.
Η εργασία ακολουθεί τον ρυθμό της χρονιάς: part-time και εξ αποστάσεως τους πιο ήσυχους μήνες (Νοέμβριο–Μάρτιο) και full-time στην Άνδρο κατά τη διάρκεια της ενεργής σεζόν (Απρίλιο–Οκτώβριο).

Το άτομο που θα αναλάβει τη θέση θα έχει την ευθύνη για την οργάνωση, επικοινωνία και τον συντονισμό των προγραμμάτων μας — τόσο των οργανωμένων (guided) όσο και των αυτο-οδηγούμενων (self-guided), τα οποία περιλαμβάνουν πολυήμερα ταξιδιωτικά προγράμματα όσο και μονοήμερες εμπειρίες και δραστηριότητες.
Παράλληλα, η θέση περιλαμβάνει και συμμετοχή στο πεδίο, σε πολιτιστικές ή γαστρονομικές δράσεις και ήπιες πεζοπορίες.

Κύριες αρμοδιότητες

• Συντονισμός της καθημερινής λειτουργίας των προγραμμάτων

• Επικοινωνία με πελάτες, ξενοδοχεία, οδηγούς και τοπικούς συνεργάτες

• Διαχείριση κρατήσεων, πληρωμών και αναφορών

• Υποστήριξη στην προετοιμασία προσφορών, διαδρομών και συνεργασιών

• Συμβολή στη βελτίωση και ανάπτυξη προγραμμάτων και εμπειριών

• Υποδοχή και υποστήριξη ταξιδιωτών κατά τη διάρκεια της σεζόν

• Δημιουργία περιεχομένου για social media και ενημερωτικά υλικά

Αναζητούμε

• Εξαιρετικές οργανωτικές και επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες

• Άριστη γνώση Ελληνικών και Αγγλικών (επιπλέον γλώσσες επιθυμητές)

• Εμπειρία στον τουρισμό ή τη φιλοξενία

• Εξοικείωση με Word, Excel, Canva & social media

• Ενδιαφέρον για τη φύση, τον πολιτισμό και τον βιώσιμο τουρισμό

• Δίπλωμα οδήγησης

• Ιδανικά, άτομο που ζει στην Άνδρο ή γνωρίζει πολύ καλά το νησί
