Spring Flowers on Andros, Cyclades
In Andros about 1,055 species and subspecies of higher plants have been recorded. Three endemic plant species of Andros are listed in the Red Data Book (RDB) of Rare and Threatened Plants of Greece (2009) : Campanula reiseri, Corydalis thasia, Ferulago sartorii
During Easter this year we had the pleasure of hosting a group of Italian hikers from Trentino, Northern Italy.
Sarah, who fell in love with the island last summer, organised a hiking trip and returned with her family and friends.
They all left with the best impressions of the verdant springs of Andros. They promised themselves to come again for more new hiking experiences and to discover every corner of the island.
