Hike the “Fardia Strata” from Ano Pitrofos to Batsi
On this amazing day you will hike from the picturesque village of Pitrofos, and through the highest slopes of Palaiopolis to the cosmopolitan seaside town of Batsi. Part of the Venetian trail that connected the east to west, this old cobbled path will lead you to one of the most impressing natural sights of the island, the Palaiopoli waterfall. With splendid views to the Aegean Sea and to the submerged old port of the ancient city, you will experience one of the most beautiful walking routes of the hiking network of Andros.
Meet your guide in the morning at the starting point in Ano Pitrofos, at the Olive Oil Museum, and join one awesome hiking tour. Enjoy splendid views to the sea, reaching the high mountain of Kouvara, walk on ancient paths, listen to stories and legends from our guides, and let us take you on a journey back in time following the old Venetian footsteps .

Know before you go:
- The hikes offer a moderate hike with a maximum of 3-4 hours walk. This tour requires a reasonable physical and mental health on behalf of all participants!
- This tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
- If you fear heights or you you have back or muscular problems should not take part in this activity
- Children less than 7 years old are not allowed.
Younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult - Necessary: long trousers, appropriate shoes and socks, hat and sunscreen, towel, swimming gear
