The evening walk tour will first start with a visit to this important Hellenistic Monument. After a short walk you will reach St.Peter’s Tower which stands in Gavrion slope, in a dominant position, overlooking the sea It is cylindrical with a height of 20 meters, a base diameter of about 9.4 meters, made entirely of local slate. Inside, a helical stairway leading to at least five floors survives. Its preserved height and its complex structure make it a unique monument of its kind and one of the best maintained Cyclades.
You will listen to the story of the tower from your local guide and you will admire the spectacular view of the homonymous beach and the Aegean Sea. Then, you continue walking to the main village, with its beautiful stone houses and colorful gardens. This picturesque settlement is one of the most beautiful in Andros and rewarding for its views of the sea, Gavrionissia Island, and of course sunset.
On the island, the simple Aegean architecture coexists with neoclassical, Venetian tower-houses and other stone houses.

Once, arrived στην μικρή πλατεία με την πηγή και την όμορφη βρύση, you will feel the unique atmosphere of Αndros at sunset. You will end your sunset tour on the terrace next to the spring, with a glass of local tsipouro or wine accompanied with light appetizers, admiring the incredible view of the Aegean and illuminated coastline.
In the end you will of course get a transfer at the meeting point.
