Dear Friends travellers

We hope that you are in plenty of health and dreaming to travel again.

The pandemic still has a significant impact on all of our lives. With restrictions in Greece and all over the world, it has been an incredibly difficult year.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you back on our outdoor active holidays in the Cyclades, as we are preparing for you unforgettable experiences in nature and ensuring all the necessary safety measures for your safe outdoor holiday.

In light of a legitimate concern for your wellbeing and health, as also, the health of our team and partners, we are following all necessary measurements and sanitation protocols for all our tours and outdoor activities.

According to our association guidelines of www.hateoa.gr

  • We fully comply with the required health protocols put into place by the government and maintain contact details for tracing cases.
  • Masks are required during group/individuals’ transfers but not during the outdoor activity.
  • In the car or minivan, we comply with the health protocols, i.e. windows are kept open, A/C is not used, vehicles are disinfected after every ride.
  • Where picnics are included, are either individualized.
  • Our team complies with the required health protocols and everyone carries out frequent self-tests.
  • In case our staff notices that a participant is looking unwell (sneezing, coughing, looking sick), we reserve the right to take their temperature and ask them not to participate in the activity.

Obligations for every visitor in Greece

Before arrival:

Every tourist must fill in the special PLF (Passenger Location Form) no later than 23:59 of the day before arriving in Greece. This is done here.
Before departure, the traveler must ensure that he/she has some kind of certification of his health condition. The alternatives for that are as follows:

PCR test from a laboratory, maximum 72 hours before entry.
Vaccination certificate issued by an appropriate authority.
All certificates must include the critical information in English and the full name must match with that of the passport or other travel document.

On arrival:

For travelers arriving in Greece, the following are provided:

Sampling RAPID antigen tests at the entrance gates, the selection of individuals drawn from a targeted sampling system, based on the EVA system used in the summer of 2020.
Mandatory isolation for tourists who have tested positive for SARS-Cov-2, following a sampling test. In this case, the travelers and their escorts are transported to quarantine hotels and undergo further PCR tests to confirm the initial diagnosis. Guests will stay in seclusion hotels for at least 10 days, and they will undergo new tests again. The expenses of the accommodation in quarantine hotels are covered by the Greek state.

Protocol for Arrivals in and Departures from Greece

All travellers must complete their PLF until the day before entering the country and leaving the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. In case of multiple stays, they are required to provide the address for the first 24 hours at least. One PLF should be submitted per family.

Travellers will receive a confirmation email upon submission of the PLF.

Travellers will receive the PLF with their unique Quick Response (QR) code on the day of their scheduled arrival in Greece and will be notified via email (the QR code will be provided in a link in the confirmation email).

Five Lines of Defence’ Against Covid-19 in Greece

First Line of Defence
Entrance will be allowed to travelers that have a certificate stating that they have either been vaccinated against Covid-19, have recovered from the coronavirus, or have a negative PCR test result.

Second Line of Defence
Greek authorities will perform sampling tests to tourists arriving to Greece from markets where a high number of Covid-19 positive cases were recently detected. The country’s EVA system will indicate which travelers should be tested upon arrival.

Third Line of Defence
Visitors that test positive for Covid-19 will enter quarantine immediately and then undergo a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for the coronavirus.

Fourth Line of Defence
Greece has a number of general safety rules, which include mandatory mask-wearing, social distancing, restrictions in restaurants, in buses, during tours, etc.

Fifth Line of Defence
Tourists will be obliged to follow the same rules as the Greeks. If there is a mask obligation for Greek citizens, the same will apply to tourists, whether they have been vaccinated or not.
