A magnificent half-day tour, starting from Batsi Town and crossing the island’s inland, from the western to the northern part and then to the East. See the highlights of this wonderful island, from stunning natural landscapes and important sights to picturesque villages. Learn about the history, the culture, and the local tradition.

The tour passes through the traditional villages of Katakoilos, the mountainous and verdant Arni, and Vourkoti. Our first stop is Apoikia, the famous seamen’s village, where Sariza Spring is located. The tour continues through the settlements of Ipsilou and Strabourgies to reach the most well-known refreshing stop on the island- Menites Springs!

The next stop is the Capital Town Hora. The heart of the town is a charm! Since cars are not allowed, follow your guide to the picturesque old city of Andros, Hora, which maintains its original medieval road layout, while the architecture is an excellent example of a combination of Byzantine, Venetian, and neoclassical styles. Enough free time to visit the Museums and have lunch (optional)

On our way back from this half-day sightseeing tour we pay a visit to the Olive Oil Museum, a little treasure on the island of Andros (optional) ! It is the best-preserved animal powered old olive mill on the island. The mill was restored and transformed into a museum. The visit is guided by its passionate owner, who will guide and initiate you to the old traditional techniques of olive oil production. An experience to remember!
